Disneyland!!!

So the whole family got a letter from Santa saying to meet in California, we got there and found out that he was sending us all to Disneyland for an early Christmas present this year. Robert, Debi and the kids met us at the hotel, and we spent the next three days running all over the park. It was a blast to get an early Christmas treat. Thanks Santa!

One Busy Summer

So, I know it has been forever since I've posted. The summer has just flown by. Here is a slide show of everything. I've been to a family reunion in Texas, spent time with Robert's family when they visited during the 24th of July, gone to visit my aunt in California, helped my parents with their kitchen remodel. And on top of all of that, I worked extra shifts at the hospital for 8 weeks! It has been busy. So I am now enjoying the change to fall, the cooler weather, NOT working extra shifts, and also going out on some dates. I'll try not to be such a slacker and post more. Next month we (my family) are all headed to Disneyland, and then we are going to Hawaii in January!!! Hmm, maybe I do need to work some more shifts to pay for all of that...

Happy Birthday Ryan, Jamie, and America!!!

Charlene's Baby Ryan had his first birthday on the 3rd of July!!!
We had a picnic in the park for him and his daddy, who shares his birthday.
Happy Birthday Ryan!!!
(He likes his "aunt" Becky, he would smile and giggle with me, and came right into my arms)

Ryan with his dad Jamie, on their birthday together.

Happy birthday Jamie!!!

Ryan sure did like his cake. Isn't he so sweet!

Jamie, Ryan, and Charlene

And last but not least, Happy Birthday on the 4th to America!!! I am grateful to be born and live in such a great country. With all of the sadness going on around the world, I am grateful for the freedoms which we enjoy here in America, and hope that none of us will ever take them for granted.

Mesa

This past weekend I was able to visit my brother's family in Mesa. My neices and nephew are so much fun to be around, and I was able to witness record breaking heat. It reached 110 over the weekend (we are still in May aren't we?). So here are some of my favorite pictures from the trip. Little Alyssa is such a sweet baby. She is so happy and loves to smile and giggle.

Emilee and I had fun swimming in their pool, drawing pictures, and baking a cake together.

Zach with his dad. Zach is such the clown. His new favorite comment is "Hey, what's the big idea." It started when his dad gave him a smaller sized brownie than the adults. Of course everyone laughing at his silliness just brings out even more.
Alyssa with her mommy. They are the cutest aren't they?

And one of my favorites is my parting picture, which shows Zach parting the picture too. It is nearly impossible to get him to sit still for even two seconds to take the picture.
